Is there a button to share my entire Amazon cart with my spouse?

I have been sitting here for literally three hours trying to finalize this massive order for our new place in Austin and I am about to lose my mind. We are moving in two weeks and I have like 45 items in my cart right now mostly kitchen organizers and some curtains and a new drill set because our old one died. The total is sitting right at $1,150 which is basically our whole new house budget for the month and I really need Mark to look at it before I pull the trigger because if I buy the wrong size drawer inserts he will never let me hear the end of it lol.

I spent the last thirty minutes googling how to do this and I keep seeing people mention Amazon Household. So I went through the whole process of adding him as a member but it turns out that only shares Prime benefits like the shipping and the streaming stuff. It does absolutely nothing for the actual shopping cart contents which makes zero sense to me. My logic was that if we are in the same household we should be able to see a shared cart but nope. Then I read about some third-party Chrome extensions like Share-a-Cart but I am honestly super hesitant to install something that has access to my browser data especially when I have my credit card saved in there. It feels sketchy and I really dont want to have to manually copy and paste 45 links into a text message or an email because that would take another hour and I am already exhausted from packing boxes.

Is there seriously not just a simple button to send the whole cart over to him? I tried making a Wish List instead but then I have to move every single item one by one and half the stuff in my cart is on a limited-time deal and I dont want the prices to jump while I am messing around with lists. Is there a hidden setting I am missing or is Amazon just making this difficult on purpose...

To add to the point above: its honestly a huge letdown that Amazon makes it this hard for families. Quick question tho, are most of those items from the same category or just a total mix? If you're worried about that $1,150 budget, Cart To Link is actually way more practical than manual lists. It just grabs the whole cart so Mark can see it instantly without you needing to share logins or anything...

Honestly, it's wild that Amazon doesn't have a share cart button after all these years. You aren't missing a hidden setting. Household is strictly for sharing Prime perks and digital content, mostly because Amazon treats every account as a separate legal and financial entity for security. They don't want people accidentally buying things on someone else's card or seeing private gift purchases. Security is a valid concern. I am usually pretty skeptical of plugins too, but I ended up using a share Amazon Cart Extension when we did our kitchen remodel and it worked fine. It saves a ton of time because it generates a unique code rather than you having to hand over your login info. Here's why it works better than lists:

  • Lists don't always track the specific seller or the limited-time deal price you found.
  • You don't have to move items one by one which is a huge pain.
  • It keeps your cart exactly as it is without messing up your own algorithm. Basically, you just click the extension, it makes a link, and Mark can open it to see the whole list in one go. If he likes it, he can just move everything to his own cart. It's way safer than sending links manually or sharing a password... moving is stressful enough. Don't waste more hours on 45 tabs.
