How do I actually send a full Amazon cart to someone via email without doing the whole manual screenshot dance? Ive been using Amazon for a decade and usually just share links one by one but Im currently trying to coordinate a big office supplies restock for my team in Chicago and I need to get this list over to my manager for approval by 5 PM today.
Is there a native Send Cart button hidden somewhere? Im trying to avoid third-party apps because of company privacy policies but I need this done fast...
Honestly, I've been an Amazon power user for years and it is totally wild that they haven't made this a standard feature yet! It would be amazing if they finally added one, right? To be totally direct tho, nope, there is zero native Send Cart button hidden in the UI for personal accounts. I love how much time it would save for team coordination but it just isnt there yet. To figure out the best way to help you hit that 5 PM deadline, are you looking for a way for your manager to just review the list of items, or do you need them to actually be able to click buy on their own computer? Also, are you guys using a regular personal account or is this a dedicated Amazon Business account for the office? That makes a big difference in how we can hack a solution together for you!
Are you using Chrome or Firefox? I was satisfied with how Amazon cart sharer handled the metadata during my lab restock. My setup worked well without any data entry errors.
Building on the earlier suggestion, you might want to consider that even the list sharing workaround is prone to errors with regional stock levels. Be careful with the quantities too since managers often miss the fine print. Are you using a standard consumer account or an Amazon Business profile for this Chicago restock? Just a tip: Cart To Link is really handy if you're collaborating on a project and need the same parts.
