Is there a way to send an Amazon cart link to my husband?

How on earth do I just send my husband a link to my whole Amazon cart so he can just pay for it already? I have been trying to get this sorted for like an hour and I am honestly so fed up with how difficult Amazon makes this simple thing. We have our anniversary coming up this weekend and I am trying to order some last minute patio furniture and a grill set but since we keep our finances separate for these kinds of big purchases I need him to see the exact items and just hit checkout on his end.

I tried a few things already:

  • shared a wish list but it was useless
  • sent individual links which takes way too long
  • looked for a share button in the app but couldnt find one

It doesnt show the exact quantities or the specific sellers I picked out and I really do not want to have to go back and add every single thing one by one again. Its like 18 items total. Every time I try to find a share button it just sends a link to one single product and that is not what I need. I am in a huge rush because if we do not order this by tonight it wont get here to our place in Austin by Saturday and then the whole party is basically ruined. Is there an app or a browser extension or literally anything that lets me just send the whole basket as a link? I am about to just hand him my phone but hes at work across town so that is not an option right now...

Honestly, Amazon is weirdly stubborn about this. The main issue is that your cart is tied to your specific browser cookies and login session, so a direct URL just wont work for anyone else. Ive been through this exact headache before when trying to coordinate big purchases with family. Wish lists are often a mess because they miss specific sellers or shipping options you picked. Since youre in a huge rush for that Austin delivery, check out Cart To Link. Its basically a tool that bundles everything in your current basket into one clickable URL. Using it is pretty straightforward. You just generate the link and text it to him. When he opens it, all 18 items get added to his own cart exactly how you had them. This saves so much time compared to sending individual links. Good luck with the anniversary party!

Like someone mentioned, the session lock thing is annoying, but I'm not sure if you have to give up just yet. I think there is a browser extension called Amazon cart sharer that might help you send the whole list at once. Be careful and maybe double-check the quantities before he hits pay tho. Honestly, I would suggest trying that over sending 18 individual links... what a nightmare.

Agreeing with the first guy. Your cart is unfortunately isolated within your specific session cookies and server-side cache. I've had issues with these session-locked structures before.

  • no native cart-sharing API
  • strict cookie authentication Quick question tho, are you on a desktop or the mobile app? I found this thing called Cart To Link a while back and it's perfect for when my wife asks what I'm buying.
