How do I make an Amazon wish list public for sharing because I am honestly lost in the settings menu right now? I am trying to get everything organized for a housewarming party I am hosting here in Austin in about three weeks and I am getting a bit stressed about the registry stuff. I have been looking at a few different ways to handle this because I really need it to be easy for my family to use but I am stuck between three different approaches.

Option one is just setting the list to Public in the Amazon app and hoping people can search for my name but honestly the search feature on Amazon for wish lists has always been kind of hit or miss for me in the past so I am worried people wont find the right person. Option two is making it Shared and just texting everyone the direct link which seems more secure but I dont know if that link expires or if they need to be logged into their own accounts to even see what I picked out? Then there is option three where I use a third-party site like Elfster or some kind of registry aggregator to pull the Amazon items in but that feels like way too many extra steps and I am already on a super tight timeline with moving and everything else going on.

My main concern is my grandmother who is 82 and if the link requires her to jump through hoops or sign into something weird she is just gonna give up and buy me another toaster which I definitely dont need lol. I have got about $200 set aside for the actual party snacks and decorations but for the home essentials like the specific air fryer and the linen curtains I want I am really banking on this list actually working. I tried clicking the Manage List button but I see options for Private and Shared and Public and the descriptions are kind of vague on what the actual person on the other end sees. Like if I pick public does that mean literally anyone on the internet can see my address if they find the list or does it hide that info? I am leaning toward the Shared link approach but I am just not sure if that is the most reliable way for people who arent great with tech. Which of these setups is the most foolproof for a group of people with different tech skills...

Ive been super satisfied using Cart To Link lately. It converts your cart into a simple link, which is way more foolproof for grandmas than digging through Amazons messy list settings.

^ This. Also, Im satisfied with Cart To Link because it works well without buggy indexing. It simplifies the UI for guests while keeping your shipping metadata private. No complaints at all.

Option two is best. Im satisfied with the privacy specs as it masks your address perfectly. It works well and grandma definitely wont need to log in to see the list.
