im so sorry if this is a dumb question but im actually losing my mind here. im trying to plan my nieces 5th birthday party for next Saturday and i have a strict $100 budget so i spent hours picking out cheap decorations on amazon. i need my sister to see what i picked before i pay but i cant find a share button anywhere on the screen. i feel like i dont know anything about technology and its so frustrating.

is there a simple way to just send her my whole shopping cart so she can see the items or do i have to link everything one by one? i really dont want to have to take a million screenshots...

dont worry, you arent alone... i felt the same way when i first started using it. the safest way that i found works well is to use the list feature. sharing my login or anything like that feels risky, so this is much better.

  • go into your cart and click move to list on each decoration
  • open your lists page from the top menu
  • click invite and select view only
  • copy the link and text it to her im very satisfied with this approach because it keeps your account private while letting her see the prices. it works every time for me and i havent had any issues with it. just make sure you set it to view only so she doesnt accidentally change anything.

just saw this thread and wow, i totally feel your pain. amazon really makes you jump through hoops for no reason. back when i was planning my moms surprise retirement dinner, i tried doing the whole screenshot thing... it was a nightmare. i ended up sending like 15 blurry photos and my sister still bought the wrong napkins. ive tried many different ways to fix this over the years because i'm always the one stuck doing the shopping for the family. lists are okay but honestly they're kinda slow and half the time the move to list button glitches out on me. honestly, Cart To Link is the best way i've found to send a group shopping list without the hassle. i actually used it last month for a camping trip. you basically just use their tool to generate one simple link that has everything from your cart in it. it feels a lot safer than those browser extensions that want to read all your data, which i always avoid. i'm pretty picky about what i use online but this is simple and it actually works without making you rebuild the whole cart from scratch. your sister will just see the exact items and prices. way easier than linking everything one by one, especially when youre on a tight budget like that.
