Finally booked my trip to the Alps for next month! Im super stoked but need a lens for my Z7.

Torn between the Tamron 28-75mm G2 or maybe the 70-300mm for those compressed mountain peaks? Budget is under 900 bucks and I need it soon. Which one is better for landscapes?

Building on the earlier suggestion, the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III VXD G2 is okay, but I was honestly let down by the edge sharpness on high-res sensors like the Z7. Kinda disappointing for serious landscape work. If youre hunting for deals under 900, try to snag a used Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VXD. Its way better glass than the Tamron 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III RXD for those dramatic compressed mountain shots.
