Just dropped a fortune on the X-T5 for a wedding in Seattle next month but none of my old X-T2 kit fits right. The ergonomics are driving me crazy and I am way over budget now. What are the actual must-have accessories for this body that I really need...

I struggled with the X-T5 grip until I had a wedding shoot where my hand literally locked up. You might want to consider these to fix the feel:

Saw this earlier... i am super satisfied with the x-t5. Big warning tho: that 40mp sensor generates massive files. I tried recycling my old v30 cards and the buffer lag was terrifying during a processional because write speeds couldnt keep up. You really need v60 cards at minimum to handle the bitrates without overspending on v90s. They work perfectly and saved me a ton of cash.

Just saw this... if you are already over budget, definitely be careful with the power setup. The X-T5 is a different beast than the T2 regarding power draw. You need to make sure any external power source or brick you use is actually USB-PD compliant or it wont charge fast enough while the camera is powered on. Those old five-watt cubes you probably have in a junk drawer are basically useless. Also, big warning on cheap third-party chargers. Some of the bottom-barrel ones dont have proper thermal shutoffs and can cook the internal cells of your batteries. Not worth the risk for a wedding. If you are shooting video, just know the sensor gets warm. Avoid those thick leather half-cases that look cool but trap heat... they can lead to thermal shutdown during long ceremonies. Stick to a simple metal grip if you need the extra handle. Better for airflow than some bulky aesthetic wrap.
