I spent my whole savings on this R5 for my sisters wedding in two weeks but now Im realizing it needs cards and extra things? Im so frustrated because I thought it was ready to go. My logic was just buy the camera but now Im totally stuck. What do I actually need to start? Sorry if this is dumb...

Unfortunately, the R5 is a total data hog and slow cards will literally lock your camera. I've had issues with buffer lag using older SDs, so don't risk it for a wedding. You definitely need:
- ProGrade Digital CFexpress Type B Gold 512GB
- SanDisk Extreme Pro 128GB UHS-II SDXC

Man, i totally feel that frustration. Buying a high end body like the R5 is a huge investment and it really stings when you realize it doesnt come with the storage or power you need to actually shoot a full day. Weddings are high pressure too, so you really gotta be careful about your gear setup. I would suggest taking a breath before buying random stuff tho. Before you drop any more cash, i have to ask... do you already have lenses for this thing, or did the savings just go to the body? Also, are you planning on shooting 4k video or just focusing on the stills? You might want to consider that high res video eats through cards way faster than photos. Make sure to let us know your remaining budget. We can definitely help you prioritize the basics.
