I just got the new Fujifilm X-T5 and am looking for advice on the best memory card to use with it. The manual mentions it supports UHS-II SD cards.
I shoot a mix of stills and video. For video, I may use the high bitrate options like 6.2K ProRes.
What specific memory cards have you found to work well in the X-T5 in terms of speed, reliability and value? Any particular brands or models you recommend?

I have been shooting with Fuji gear since the original X-T1 and the X-T5 is just a totally different level of amazing! Love it. That 40MP sensor and the 6.2K video really demand the best hardware to keep up with the data. I spent a lot of time testing different setups for my professional work and here is my breakdown:
- SanDisk Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-II Card V90 128GB: This is the industry standard for a reason. Super reliable and I have never had a single write error even during long 6.2K sessions.
- Lexar Professional 2000x SDXC UHS-II Card V90 128GB: Incredible for burst shooting! If you do a lot of high-speed stills, the buffer clears so fast with these. I did find the plastic casing a bit more delicate than others tho.
- ProGrade Digital SDXC UHS-II Video Speed Class 90 Cobalt 256GB: Honestly, this is my favorite right now. It is rock solid for high-bitrate ProRes and the thermal management is fantastic. Make sure you dont cheap out on V60 cards if you plan on using those high-bitrate video modes. You really need that V90 rating to avoid dropped frames when shooting ProRes... it is a total game changer for reliability!

Get any UHS-II V90 SD cards.
