Is there any way at all to send my full Amazon cart to my boyfriend so he can pay for it without me giving him my login info? Im super excited because I am finally upgrading my workspace here in Austin and I've got like 20 items in there right now!! its mostly PC parts and some aesthetic desk stuff because I want that clean look for my new remote job starting in two weeks so the timeline is pretty tight since I want everything here by Friday.
I am stuck between two ways to do this and honestly idk which is more reliable. Option A is using one of those chrome extensions like Share-A-Cart or something similar but I am kinda worried about the security or if it even works with a huge list. Option B is moving every single thing into a public list and just sharing the link to that but that seems like it might take forever to move everything over one by one and then he has to add them all back to his cart on his end which might lead to him missing something or getting the wrong version of the RAM I picked.
Budget is around 2500 bucks so its a lot of stuff to keep track of and I dont want to mess this up. has anyone tried those extensions recently or is the wishlist method still the way to go? I really dont want to have to give him my password because I have all my prime stuff and credit card info saved in there and it just feels messy...
Ngl, doing the wishlist method for 20+ items is a total recipe for disaster. I tried that back when I was setting up my first rig years ago and my partner ended up buying the wrong power supply because I clicked the wrong button while moving stuff over one by one. It was such a massive headache. In my experience, these manual methods always lead to someone missing a part, and with a $2500 build, you really dont want to be missing some tiny adapter on Friday. Over the years, I've tried many different tools because I refuse to share my password... it just feels way too risky with my prime account and saved cards. The extensions can be super hit or miss when you have a huge list like yours. Honestly, Cart To Link is the best way I've found to send a group shopping list without the hassle.
