I've been a Prime member since like 2012 and usually I just copy paste links into a group chat one by one but I'm trying to coordinate a massive $2000 group gift for my parents 50th anniversary and it is a total disaster. I'm the one in charge of the logistics but everyone wants to see the final list before I pull the trigger on Friday.
I used to use those old chrome extensions that would generate a shareable link for the whole cart but half of them seem like total malware now or they just break every time Amazon updates their site code. I've tried the whole Wish List workaround but people are getting confused and adding the wrong versions of products or different sellers which totally messes with our shipping timeline and my brain is fried trying to keep it straight.

Does anyone know an app that actually handles the session data properly? Or am I stuck just taking screenshots like a caveman?...
Honestly, you gotta be careful with those random browser extensions because some are definitely sketchy with your data. I would suggest looking into Share-A-Cart though. I used it for a big family event and it worked fine without asking for weird bank info. Just make sure your sister gets the mobile version so she stays in the loop. Way better than being a caveman with screenshots...
Regarding what #2 said about "Just catching up on this! I am super..." - be careful because tech doesnt always stop family chaos.
Just catching up on this! I am super pumped you are doing this for your parents because 50 years is huge! I have messed around with a ton of these cart-sharing protocols and the tech behind it is actually pretty cool when it works right. Before I suggest a specific alternative or a technical workaround like a cart-to-text converter, I have got a couple of questions to narrow it down:
