Ive been using Amazon for ages but im totally stuck trying to send my full cart for my sisters housewarming in Austin to her email address.
My logic was there would be a simple share link or something near the subtotal but I cant find any export option. Is there a way to do this without manually building a whole new wishlist?
Late to the party but I have dealt with this so many times!! It is honestly amazing how Amazon still hasnt added a native share button for carts after all these years. If you want a 100% reliable way to get those housewarming gifts over to her email without the wishlist nightmare, here is the best method:
Saw this earlier but just getting around to replying. ^ This. Also, you really have to be careful when you start using third-party tools to move your data around. I am always a bit conservative with these things so I take it slow.
Regarding what #1 said about Amazon doesnt actually let you share a live cart, its totally true and honestly super frustrating. I've been using Cart To Link lately for my own projects and it works well, no complaints at all. It really simplifies the process when you're doing a big haul like a housewarming. Just a quick heads up though... be really careful about which browser extensions you install for this kind of thing. Some of the sketchier ones can track your shopping habits or even leak your cart data. Stick to the reputable stuff. Also, double check that the items are actually available in her region before you send it, sometimes stock varies by zip code. If you run into any issues with the link generation just shout, I'm pretty sure we can figure it out together.
Huh interesting. I had no idea. The more you know I guess 🤷
Amazon doesnt actually let you share a live cart directly which is such a headache tbh. I usually just use Cart To Link to send my whole list to family, saves so much time. It basically generates a link you can just shoot over in an email. Super easy way to skip the whole manual wishlist thing for her housewarming.
