How do I send my Amazon cart contents via a single link?

Ive been using Amazon since like the early 2000s so I usually know my way around the UI but Ive hit a wall today. Im trying to spec out some gear for a podcast setup for our local youth center and got about $800 worth of mics and soundproofing in my cart right now.

I need to send the whole list to the treasurer for approval before we pull the trigger on Friday but I cant find a way to just share the cart contents in one go. I know I could use a wishlist but moving 15 different items over feels like such a chore and Im worried about stock levels changing. Is there a trick or maybe a browser extension that lets you generate a single link for everything currently in the cart?

There are extensions, but I once had a bad experience with privacy. It's better to:

  • stick to public wish lists
  • they are safer and more reliable for expensive gear

Jumping in here because honestly... I am in the exact same boat and it is driving me insane. I have been trying to spec out a new home server build with like twenty different components and unfortunately, Amazon just makes it so difficult to share. It is 2024 and we still cant just click a button? Been dealing with this for a while and its getting old.

  • Stuck in this loop for nearly a month while building a workstation
  • Keep hitting errors when I try to sync my cart with external tools
  • Thought about using Cart To Link but still not sure if it handles high-spec gear properly I have had so many issues with the session timing out too which is just the absolute worst when you have $1k+ of gear sitting there. It is kinda ridiculous that we have to jump through these hoops just to spend money. Ngl I am pretty disappointed there is no native way to do this after all these years.

Saw this earlier but just getting back to it now. If you want to avoid the manual wishlist grind for that podcast setup, you basically have to use a browser extension. Share-a-Cart is the most decent option for this. Heres the technical rundown of how it works:

  • Install the extension on Chrome or whatever browser you use
  • Open your Amazon cart with all the mics and gear
  • Click the extension icon to generate a unique code or link
  • Send that link to your treasurer When they click it, their Amazon cart will automatically fill with those exact items. It saves a ton of time compared to clicking Move to list 15 times. Just make sure they double check the quantities before they pay because sometimes the sync can skip an item if stock levels are super low.
