Is there a way for multiple people to edit one Amazon list?

my sisters graduation party is next Saturday and we have zero time left to coordinate. We're trying to keep the budget under $300 for decorations so we really need one shared list.

I saw online that you can click an invite button to let people edit but then some old forum post said that only lets them add items and not actually delete or move stuff around. My mom and I both need to be able to check things off as we buy them so we dont buy double of everything. Is there a way to make it a true collaborative list where we both have full control?

Over the years, I've tried many workarounds for event planning, and Amazon's list permissions dont actually support full write-access for secondary users yet. I once ended up with three identical cake toppers because the sync failed. Try these instead:

  • Share one account login across all devices
  • Sync via a third-party app like AnyList The native system just isnt built for co-ownership.

In my experience, those native lists are super clunky. Id just use Amazon cart sharer instead, it makes collaborating and managing items way smoother tho.
