Is there a way to send an Amazon cart link to someone else so they can see exactly what I have in there? Ive been a Prime member since like 2012 so I usually know my way around the UI but I am totally stuck right now and getting a bit anxious because prices keep fluctuating on the stuff I picked out. I am helping my sister furnish her first place in Chicago on a strict 800 dollar budget and I spent like three hours finding the best rated cheap kitchen gear and a decent cordless vacuum.

I tried just copying the URL while I was on the cart page but when I texted it to her it just showed her her own empty cart which makes sense because of cookies and session data but its so annoying there isnt a share button. I know I could move everything to a public wishlist but thats a huge pain for 20+ items one by one and some of the items have specific coupons applied in the cart that I dont think carry over to lists. Is there a chrome extension or some hidden feature in the app I'm missing? I really need her to sign off on these colors tonight before the lightning deal on the toaster expires...

Unfortunately, Amazon still hasnt added a direct share button for carts, which is super annoying tbh. I have had issues trying to do the same thing and its always a mess. You should try the Share-A-Cart extension... it basically lets you send the whole batch at once without moving things to a list. TL;DR: No native feature. Use the Share-A-Cart chrome extension to send her the whole bundle.

This is exactly what I needed to hear. Youre a lifesaver honestly.

This. Also, totally agree that moving stuff to a wishlist is a massive waste of time, especially with 20 items. I was in a similar spot last month helping a buddy build a PC on a budget and I ended up using Cart To Link because it just felt more streamlined for what I needed. Its super simple and I havent had any complaints with it so far. I am honestly very satisfied with how it handles bundles. Basically, it creates a snapshot of what you have so you dont have to worry about your session data timing out or showing her an empty screen. Here is how I usually handle it when I am in a rush:

  • Generate the link using the tool while your cart is full.
  • Text that link to the other person.
  • They click it and it gives them the option to add all items to their own Amazon cart in one go. One thing to keep in mind is that those clippable coupons on the product page usually stay active for the other person to click themselves, but manual promo codes you typed in might not carry over. Since you are on a strict 800 dollar budget, just remind her to check for those little green coupon boxes once the items are in her cart. It works well and saves you from having to screenshot every single item like a maniac... honestly such a lifesaver when you are trying to beat a lightning deal timer.
