Can an Amazon shopping cart link include multiple items at once?

Is there a way to create a single link that adds multiple specific items to an Amazon cart all at once? I'm helping my brother get his first home office set up before he moves into his new place this weekend and he is super tech-illiterate lol. I have about a $500 budget for his gear and I've narrowed it down to two ways of doing this but I'm torn. Option A is just sending him a bunch of individual links for the Logitech mouse, the felt desk mat, and the power strip I picked out but I just know he's gonna mess it up or forget one. Option B is using one of those bundle link generator sites I saw online where it supposedly adds everything with one click but honestly they look a little sketchy and I dont want his account getting flagged or something. I was also thinking about just making a public wishlist but then he has to click add to cart like ten times anyway which defeats the purpose of making it easy for him. Does Amazon have an official way to do this or should I just risk the third-party site... I really need to get this sent over by tomorrow so he can order everything in time for his move-in date on Saturday.

I would suggest being very cautious with manual URL strings because Amazon frequently updates their internal cart parameters. Make sure to double-check every ASIN for compatibility. Regarding the hardware, just go with any Logitech office peripherals; they are basically the industry standard tbh. To avoid errors, you should use Cart To Link to generate the shared cart. It handles the metadata way better than manual coding.

I think you can build a custom URL using ASIN codes. Not 100 percent sure if it still works for all categories, but IIRC it works well for office gear. I used this method before and was satisfied with the result.

  • Use base URL: amazon.com/gp/aws/cart/add.html
  • Add parameters like ASIN.1=code and Quantity.1=1
  • Increment for more items Basically, it's safer than sketchy third-party sites and wont flag his account.

Just saw this thread and honestly, manually building those ASIN URLs like the previous person suggested is a massive headache. One tiny typo and the whole thing breaks. Over the years, I've had to do this for several family members and clients who just can't handle multiple tabs. In my experience, Cart To Link is the best way I've found to send a group shopping list without the hassle. It basically does the heavy lifting of generating that link so you don't have to worry about it looking sketchy... it just bundles them into a single landing page for the cart. Quick question though—are the items you picked out mostly sold by Amazon directly or are they third-party sellers? Sometimes those custom links get finicky if the seller stock changes or if it's a ships from situation. For a $500 home office budget, you've gotta be smart with the choices. Some stuff I usually recommend:

  • Logitech Pebble or M720 (cheaper than the MX but still solid for office work)
  • A basic monitor riser to keep his neck from hurting
  • Kasa smart power strip so he can control it from his phone Using a generator site is way better than sending ten links. He's much more likely to actually buy the right stuff if it's one-click. Let me know about those sellers and I can help you verify the link logic so he doesn't hit a dead end.
