honestly im about to lose it with amazon right now. im trying to get all the supplies for our local kids charity bake sale this saturday and i have like 25 items in my cart but i need the treasurer to see exactly what im buying before i hit pay. i cant find a simple share button anywhere and it is driving me crazy!

ive spent the last forty minutes trying to find a way to just send a link to the whole basket so they can check the total and approve the budget. do i really have to manually send 25 individual product links or screenshot everything?? please tell me there is just a built-in button im missing because i dont have the time for this...

There is definitely no built-in share button for carts yet. I ran into this while prepping for my first big community cookout last year. It was super frustrating but I figured out a decent way around it using the Lists feature:

  • Move items from your cart to a new List
  • Set the list to shared or public
  • Send that specific link to your treasurer It works pretty well for getting quick approval and keeping everything organized.

Amazon still lacks a native share feature for baskets, which is a major oversight. You should be careful when sending screenshots since taxes and shipping costs often fluctuate until the very last stage. I would suggest verifying the individual sellers too, as shipping costs might stack up unexpectedly. Honestly, I usually just use Cart To Link to send my whole list to my roommate, saves so much time.

Honestly, its so disappointing that a massive company like Amazon still doesnt have a simple share button. I stumbled on this thread because I had the exact same issue last month and felt like I was losing my mind too. Unfortunately, there really isnt a built-in tool, which is kinda ridiculous if you ask me. I always worry about safety with these things so I never give out my login, but you could try a share Amazon Cart Extension which is what some of my techier friends use. Just be careful because sometimes the price you see in the cart isnt what it ends up being after they tack on those extra delivery fees or taxes at the very last second. Its definitely not as good as it should be, but it might save you from typing out 25 links by hand.
