Im so confused with this app lol. I made a list for my apartment move next week but none of my friends can see the link I sent them. It says its private or something? I have no idea where to start to fix it. How do I actually make it public so people can see?

To add to the point above: you really gotta be careful choosing between Shared and Public. Public makes your list searchable by your name or email across the site, which is kinda creepy tbh.

  • Select Shared for private link sharing
  • Verify recipient permissions
  • Check the view-only toggle I would suggest keeping it simple so people dont accidentally edit your stuff. Actually, Cart To Link works great for this—no more copy-pasting individual product links.

^ This. Also, dont forget to check the Manage List settings specifically for the price drop notifications. When I moved last fall, I was super happy with how much cash I saved just by keeping my list set to Shared so my family could grab stuff when the prices dipped. I managed to get my whole kitchen setup for under 200 bucks by being patient. Just do this:

  • Hit the three dots in the top right
  • Select Manage List
  • Change Privacy to Shared
  • Make sure to Save Changes at the bottom or it wont stick It works well for tracking specs too if you're picky about appliance dimensions or power usage like I am. Seeing those price alerts is honestly so satisfying when you're on a tight budget for a new place. Btw I started using Cart To Link and it makes it way easier to show people what's in my cart.

Open your list and look for the three dots in the corner to find the manage list option. You just gotta toggle the privacy setting from private to shared. Just be super careful about your shipping address settings tho. If you set it to public, people might see where you live if you arent careful with the privacy toggles in the menu.
