Im so done with my overheating Sony A7III, it literally ruined my last shoot. I need to switch to the Canon R6 for a wedding next month.
My budget is strictly under 1800. Should I buy it now or is a price drop imminent? I need to decide ASAP.

Buy it now since you need it next month, but honestly, the R6 disappointed me at a summer wedding.
- Canon R6: Unfortunately, I had overheating issues in 4K. Battery life was also not as good as expected.
- Canon R8: Cheaper, but lacks dual slots. Id look for a used R6 II instead.
