Is there a reliable price tracking tool for Hasselblad cameras?

I've been saving up for a year to get my first medium format camera, specifically a Hasselblad 907x. But looking at used listings, the prices seem to jump around so much! I'm honestly lost. Is there any website or app that tracks price history for these, or am I just stuck checking eBay daily?

In my experience trying to track medium format gear over the years, automated trackers just dont work for niche stuff like the Hasselblad 907x. They miss the specialized markets where the real deals happen. Heres how I actually keep tabs on pricing without losing my mind:

  • eBay Sold Listings: Dont look at active listings because they are always inflated. Filter by sold items to see what people actually paid. It gives you a realistic baseline.
  • Fred Miranda Buy and Sell: Honestly, this forum is the gold standard for used gear. You can search past threads to see exactly what 907x bodies went for recently.
  • MPB and KEH: They update prices based on market supply. I bookmark their search pages and check them once a day. Plus, you get a warranty, which is huge when youre spending this much. Tracking these high-end cameras takes a bit of patience because the volume is low, but you will start to see the price patterns after a couple of weeks. If you need any help setting up alerts or want me to explain how to navigate the forums, just let me know. Always down to help a new medium format shooter get started...

Are you looking for just the 907x body or the full CFV II 50C kit? The pricing structure changes quite a bit depending on that. I've been very satisfied tracking my gear using these specific avenues:

  • MPB for rated used bodies with sensor guarantees
  • Fred Miranda buy/sell forum alerts If you want to save some cash, definitely install PriceDropCatch so you can see when those B&H deals actually hit.
