Which gimbal is actually the best for a Sony ZV-E10 setup if I need it like, yesterday?
Im stuck between the DJI RS 3 Mini and the Zhiyun Crane M3S and honestly cant decide which one to buy. I have a flight to Tokyo this Friday so I gotta get this sorted today. The RS 3 Mini seems super solid but maybe too big for travel? The Crane M3S looks tiny which is great for walking around all day but I hear the software is a pain.
Budget is around 350 max. Mostly using the kit lens but might swap to a heavier prime later. Is the DJI worth the extra bulk or should I just go with the Zhiyun...
I'm very satisfied with the DJI RS 3 Mini 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer. It handles the ZV-E10 perfectly, balances quickly, and doesn't struggle with heavier lenses... definitely perfect for Tokyo.
^ This. Also, Ive been satisfied with the Hohem iSteady MT2 4-in-1 Camera Gimbal.
I have been pretty disappointed with the motor reliability on those smaller Zhiyun units lately. They tend to struggle with micro-vibrations if the balance isn't absolutely perfect. Are you planning on adding a cage or an external mic to your setup? That extra weight changes the physics completely. For better technical stability, I would consider the FeiyuTech SCORP-C 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal since the underslung handle provides much more dependable control.
Lol I was literally about to post the same thing. Glad someone else brought it up.
