Look I am honestly about to lose it with this Amazon stuff. I have been sitting here for two hours trying to plan my sisters baby shower for next month and my cart is literally overflowing with like 40 different things from balloons to specific streamers and plates. My mom is supposed to help pay for half the decorations but she lives two states away and she wants to see everything before I hit buy. I tried just sending her links one at a time but it is taking forever and I keep losing my place and now I have like twenty tabs open and my head is spinning. I searched online and people mentioned something called a browser extension but I dont even really know what that is or how to install one without breaking my computer or something. I feel so dumb even asking this but is there a specific extension that just lets me send her the whole cart in one go? I really need something simple because I am definitely not a tech person and I just want to get this ordered before the shipping dates change again. Does anyone know which extension allows sharing an Amazon shopping cart?

Just saw this while looking for a fix for my own cart issues. Like someone mentioned, these extensions are supposed to be the solution, but honestly, I have been pretty disappointed with the reliability lately. Quick question before you download anything tho... are you and your mom both using the same browser? It makes a huge difference because some extensions are notoriously glitchy on Safari versus Chrome, and I wouldnt want you to waste more time if she cant even open the link... I have compared the main ones and here is the reality:

  • Share-A-Cart: It is the standard, but unfortunately, I have had issues with it dropping items when the cart gets as full as yours. It is definitely not as good as expected for 40-plus items.
  • Cart To Link: This one is simpler, but it lacks the features to handle specific variations like plate colors or streamer sizes correctly. I usually suggest Share-A-Cart as the best of a bad bunch, but it is still far from perfect. It is just exhausting trying to find a simple tool that actually works every single time.

Re: "Just saw this while looking for a fix..." - yeah honestly I had such high hopes for these tools but my experience was kinda messy. Last year when I was organizing my brothers engagement party, I tried using Share-A-Cart because everyone raved about it. Unfortunately, it kept dropping items from the list whenever I sent it to my aunt. It was so frustrating... like we would get 35 items out of 40 and then have to spend an hour figuring out what was missing. I then tried Cart To Link thinking it would be the magic fix but it felt even more glitchy on my end. Not sure if it was my browser or what, but it just wasnt as good as expected. Maybe they updated it recently, but I havent gone back to check. IIRC, there is also something called WiseCart? Never used it myself but I heard it mentioned in a group once. Just be careful because it can be a huge headache when the links wont open on mobile tho.

I've been using these for years. An extension is basically just a tiny app for your web browser. Most are free and wont break anything. They just add a button so you can send one link instead of 40. It keeps things simple and helps with the budget. Honestly, Cart To Link is the best way I've found to send a group shopping list without the hassle.

Omg I totally feel your pain!! Planning a baby shower is a literal nightmare when you are trying to coordinate with family from miles away. I have been in your exact shoes with the 50 tabs open and honestly it is enough to make anyone want to scream! But dont worry because there is an amazing tool that is basically gonna save your life right now. The one I always use is called Share-A-Cart and it is seriously fantastic for this kind of stuff. It is super simple even if you are not techy at all. Basically, it is a little add-on for your browser (like Chrome or Edge) that bundles everything up into one neat little link. You should definitely check out a good Amazon cart sharer to get this sorted in like two minutes flat! Heres how you do it without breaking anything:

  • Search for Share-A-Cart in the Chrome Web Store and hit add to chrome.
  • Go to your Amazon cart where all your decorations are sitting.
  • Click the little puzzle piece icon or the extension icon in the top right of your screen.
  • Hit the button that says Create Cart Code.
  • Copy that link and text it to your mom! When she clicks it, all 40 items will pop right into her cart on her end. It is like magic! No more sending 20 different links or losing your place. Technically it works by reading the item IDs in your cart and generating a temporary script that repopulates them for her. If that feels too weird, you could also try an Amazon Wish List, but the extension is way faster because it handles the actual checkout process way better. You got this!!
