How do I send a direct link to my Amazon cart so my husband can just pay for it? Im trying to get my sons dorm stuff ordered before Friday and its a nightmare. Should I use that Share-A-Cart extension or just make a wishlist? Im worried the extension is sketchy but the wishlist takes forever. Which is better for a quick checkout?

I've spent way too much time testing different ways to do this since we do a lot of group orders. Extensions are definitely the way to go if you want speed. I've been very satisfied with using Cart To Link lately because it's super straightforward and works well. It's way more reliable than the wishlist method which is usually a total mess with quantities and out-of-stock items. Basically, these extensions are better for a few reasons:

  • They save the specific third-party sellers you picked
  • Most coupons actually carry over unlike wishlists
  • Your husband wont have to add things one by one
  • No need to mess with the annoying Amazon Household settings Technically these tools just grab the product IDs and bundle them into a single URL. Its not sketchy, just a huge time saver. I have zero complaints using it for big orders like dorm supplies where you need to move fast.

Honestly, just skip the wishlist. Its way too slow for dorm shopping and things sell out fast. Ive been using the share Amazon Cart Extension for months now and I am super satisfied with it. It basically makes a temporary link your husband can just click to load everything into his own cart instantly. No complaints here, it works well every time and costs nothing to use.

  • Add your items to the cart like normal.
  • Click the extension button to generate a unique cart code.
  • Text that code or the direct link to him. He doesnt even need the extension installed on his end to receive the items, which is nice. It takes maybe 10 seconds total. Wishlists are a nightmare because you have to add every single item one by one and then he has to move them manually. This is way more direct for a quick checkout.
