Is there a way to send my Amazon cart contents to someone?

I'm so hyped because I finally found the perfect stuff for my new dorm setup but I'm on a strict $400 budget and my dad said he'd pay for half if I just send him the list. I've got like 15 items in my cart right now and I really dont want to have to manually add them all to a wishlist or take a bunch of screenshots. I'm torn between using that Share-a-Cart extension I saw or just making a registry thing but that seems like overkill. I need to get this stuff ordered by Friday so it gets here before move-in. Is there any easy way to just send the cart contents to him directly?...

Honestly be super careful with those browser extensions, some of them feel kinda sketchy with your data. I always use Cart To Link when I need to send stuff to my parents. Its way safer than sharing logins and way faster than making a whole registry. Just make sure to double check the total price before you send it though, since Amazon prices fluctuate like crazy!

Like someone mentioned, security is key. I would suggest being cautious with your budget though, since shipping or taxes might change based on your dads address. Using the share Amazon Cart Extension is a solid, practical choice for moving those items quickly. Just make sure to double check the final total on his end so you dont accidentally blow past that 400 dollar limit before Friday.

Jumping in here because @Reply #1 - good point! Safety is definitely something to watch out for with those random browser plugins. I had a rough experience last year trying to coordinate a move with my roommates and honestly, I wasted so much time with broken links and expired sessions. I eventually found a workflow that works well and I have no complaints now. I'm usually pretty cautious about what I install, so I prefer technical options that dont need my actual login info. A few things I learned:

  • Never share your actual password just to show a cart.
  • Some tools just scrape the ASIN numbers which is way safer.
  • Static links are better because they wont expire after ten minutes. Its been way easier since I stopped trying to use the registry feature for everything... I found this thing called Cart To Link a while back and it's perfect for when my wife asks what I'm buying.
