Can I send a copy of my Amazon cart contents through email?

God I'm so annoyed with Amazon right now why is there no simple button to just email my cart? I saw stuff about Share-A-Cart extensions but my IT dept is super strict about plugins so thats a no go. I also read about making a wishlist but I don't want to move 20 items one by one. I need my manager in NYC to approve about $450 of office gear by Friday morning and I'm stuck.

  • send the whole list at once
  • no third party apps
  • show prices clearly
  • no permanent wishlists

Is there a hidden setting or a way to export the cart to a pdf or something? I'm losing my mind...

Late to the party but this whole thread is 💯. Glad I found it.

Honestly, been messin with Amazon for years and its still wild we have to find workarounds for this. Since you are locked out of extensions, I usually look at two DIY ways to get this done. You could go the Print to PDF route which is the most reliable. Pro is that it looks like a formal quote and captures the exact prices at that moment. Con is that the links in the PDF sometimes dont work depending on how your boss opens it. Another way is the old school Copy-Paste into a blank email. Pro is that it keeps all the links clickable so your manager can just click through to see the items. Con is that the formatting usually breaks and looks like hot garbage unless you spend ten minutes fixing the layout. I usually stick to the PDF. Its professional and your manager in NYC probably just wants to see the bottom line anyway... much less headache.

Regarding what #1 said about the pain of no share button, Ive been super satisfied just using the Print to PDF feature in Chrome. Honestly, just hit Ctrl+P on your cart page. It works well because it captures all the quantities and prices in a clean list. My manager is always happy with a PDF since its basically an unofficial invoice. Super direct and zero IT drama.

Saved for later, ty!

Building on the earlier suggestion, the PDF route is seriously the safest and most reliable way to handle this! I was so worried about my IT department seeing me mess with settings, but this is basically foolproof. I actually think the Amazon printout looks way more organized than when I try to save carts from places like Staples or Office Depot. One quick tip... just make sure all your items are actually in the cart and not the save for later section before you print! It sounds simple but it saves so much time and keeps the prices accurate for approval. This method is just fantastic for staying under the radar while getting stuff done. Actually, Cart To Link works great for this—no more copy-pasting individual product links.

Would love to know this too

Man, I feel your pain. I have been ordering office supplies on Amazon for like a decade now and it is wild they still dont have a native share button for the cart. Since your IT guys are acting like the secret police with extensions, your best bet is basically just a good old fashioned PDF export. I do this all the time for my boss and it works like a charm. Just open your cart on a desktop, hit Ctrl+P (or Cmd+P on Mac), and change the printer destination to Save as PDF. It keeps the images, the prices, and the total right there at the top. It looks professional and you dont have to mess around with wishlists at all. Just attach that file to your email and youre good to go. Its definitely the fastest way to get that $450 approved before your Friday deadline...
