Look I am beyond annoyed right now because I have like 42 items in my Amazon cart for our new office renovation in Austin and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to just send the whole list to my manager so he can pay for it. I was thinking maybe there was a simple share button but nope. My logic was that I could just export the list or something? I did some digging and people keep saying to use the Wish List feature or an Idea List, but honestly that is so tedious because I already spent three hours picking out the exact cable lengths and monitor mounts and I dont want to have to move every single item one by one to a new list just to share it.
Then I saw some stuff about a Chrome extension called Share-A-Cart but I am always kind of sketched out about putting third-party stuff on my work computer and I dont even know if it works for the recipient if they dont have it installed too. I just need a way to get these specific items over to my boss by tomorrow morning so we can get the shipping started before the weekend. Is there seriously no built-in way to just email a snapshot of the cart or a direct link that actually works? I tried just copying the URL of the cart page but obviously that just shows his own empty cart when he clicks it. Am I missing a hidden setting or do I really have to manually rebuild this entire list item by item in a shared list?
Unfortunately, Amazon provides no native feature for this, which is quite frustrating for business needs. I had issues with their manual lists and they were not as good as expected for large orders.
@Reply #1 - good point! Just be careful with extensions tho... tbh mine once crashed mid checkout and was a total nightmare.
