Is there actually a way to just generate a link for everything in my Amazon cart so I can send it to someone else to buy? I am in a massive rush because my sister just moved into her first apartment in Chicago and she has literally nothing, like no plates or even a broom, and I spent the last three hours picking out about 45 different items for her. I need to get this to her today so the shipping hits by Friday or shes gonna be eating off paper towels all weekend.
I tried looking this up and I saw people mentioning a chrome extension called Share-a-Cart but honestly I am a bit sketched out by giving a random app access to my Amazon account data and I dont know if it even works for the mobile app which is what she uses mostly. Then I saw some people saying to just make a Wish List but oh my god it is taking forever. I have to click every single item and move it to a list and half the time the button doesnt even show up or it says the item is a subscription and cant be added to a list? Its driving me insane and I just want a single link that says here is everything in my cart just hit checkout.
Is there a hidden button or something I am missing? I even tried searching for a share cart button in the checkout menu but it just wants me to pay. I really dont want to have to venmo her 400 dollars and hope she finds the exact same items because I spent a lot of time finding the specific budget-friendly versions of things like the 12-piece ceramic set and that specific cordless vacuum that was on sale. If I cant find a way to link the whole cart in the next hour I might just have to buy it myself and ship it to her address but that messes up the whole surprise aspect since shell see my name on the billing. Is there any easier way to do this without manual lists?
Wait, I just realized some items are Add-on items too, does that change how the link works if I find one or will it just break the whole thing...
Amazon lacks native sharing for security reasons. Be careful with extensions. I found this thing called Cart To Link a while back and its perfect for when my wife asks what Im buying.
Late to the party but I dealt with this nightmare using my current setup.
