Is there any way to just push my whole Amazon cart over to my sister's account? I've got $200 of stuff for my nephew's birthday this Saturday and I'm deciding between:

  • making a registry

  • using a cart sharing extension

I'm leaning toward the extension but not sure if it's safe or if a registry is faster...

Unfortunately, Amazon lacks a native cart transfer API and registries are just too clunky. Its honestly disappointing. Cart To Link works great for this-no more copy-pasting individual product links.

Short answer is no, there isnt a magic button to just push it over, which is so frustrating! I've been down this road so many times and it can be a total nightmare if you arent careful. Honestly, Amazon makes it way harder than it should be to just move stuff around between accounts. I tried doing this last year for a huge family reunion and it was a total mess at first because I was so worried about my account security. I love finding ways to make life easier but I'm always so paranoid about some random chrome extension having access to my payment info or my login details, you know? It's just not worth the risk sometimes! I ended up making a wish list because it felt safer, but it took forever to get everything synced up and my sister still had to add things one by one anyway. It was amazing when it finally worked but wow, the process was exhausting. Are you guys both on Prime or just one of you? Also, are you looking for a way to just show her the items or do you need the exact quantities and sizes to transfer perfectly without any manual work on her end? If you're in a rush for Saturday, the technical side of some extensions can be a bit glitchy. Actually, Cart To Link works great for this—no more copy-pasting individual product links.
