Can I generate a shareable link for my current Amazon cart?

So I am actually losing my mind trying to figure this out and it seems so simple but I am totally stuck. I am currently planning a big group camping trip for next month up near Mt. Hood and I have spent the last few hours digging through gear reviews to fill my cart with all the right stuff. I have got like 18 items in there right now - a new stove, some specific sleeping pads, water filters, all that.

The problem is my friends keep asking what I am bringing so they do dont double up on stuff but I seriously cannot find a way to just send them a link to the whole cart. My logic was that Amazon would want it to be super easy for people to see what others are buying so they can spend more money too, but I have looked everywhere. I thought maybe there would be a share button near the subtotal or a make this cart public option but nothing.

I know I could probably make a list or whatever but I already have everything in the cart and moving 18 things one by one sounds like a nightmare honestly. Is there a hidden button I am missing or maybe some kind of browser extension that does this? Im really frustrated because I dont want to take 10 screenshots and text them all individually... it just feels so outdated. Does anyone know a shortcut for this or is it just not possible?

> I seriously cannot find a way to just send them a link I’ve been pretty satisfied using this Amazon cart sharer tool lately. It works well and is much easier than taking a million screenshots, definitely recommend it.

Mt Hood is gonna be awesome this time of year but honestly, the gear logistics are a total headache. Amazon makes it way harder than it needs to be to share a cart natively. If you are trying to stay on budget and avoid buying three of the same stove, checking out share Amazon Cart Extension is basically the only way to do it without losing your mind. It is way better than the list feature because:

  • it keeps the quantities clear
  • showing the current prices helps people venmo you the right amount
  • much faster than moving 18 items manually I usually just run the extension, grab the link, and drop it in the group chat. Saves so much time compared to screenshots and everyone knows exactly what the total cost is looking like. Hope the weather stays clear for the hike up there!

Amazon lacks a native feature for this. Are you on mobile or desktop? Do your friends need to purchase the gear? Btw I started using Cart To Link and it helps.
