Does anyone have a solid recommendation for a hand grip and strap combo that works well with the Fuji X-T30 II? I've been shooting with heavy DSLRs for about 12 years now so I'm used to a chunky body, but I finally caved and bought this little Fuji for an upcoming trip to Tokyo and Kyoto next month. I love the sensor and the dials but honestly my hands are already starting to cramp up just testing it out around the house. It's way smaller than I anticipated and the front grip is basically flat.
I was looking at the official MHG-XT10 but $100 for a piece of metal feels like a lot. Are there any third party ones like SmallRig or Meike that actually feel solid and don't block the battery door? I also need a decent strap—maybe a wrist one because the neck straps always feel too bulky for a camera this small. I've got maybe $120 to spend on both. Also I've seen those thumb grips that slide into the hot shoe... do those actually help or do they just get in the way of the back command dial? Just trying to get this thing comfortable before my flight in three weeks.
Honestly, I was so worried about dropping mine! You definitely need a solid setup for safety. I absolutely love the SmallRig L-Shape Grip for Fujifilm X-T30 II 2634 because it feels incredibly secure and doesn't block the battery door.
