• Software stability is paramount. Rushing into the first batch often means dealing with firmware bugs that could honestly compromise flight safety. I've tried many drones at launch and frankly, it is almost always better to wait for the second production run. Let the early adopters deal with the initial kinks. Reliability matters more than being first when you're putting a DJI Air 3S in the sky.

ngl i am pretty disappointed with how dji is handling this wait. rumors keep pointing to late 2024 but i am not holding my breath anymore. unfortunately these S updates usually feel like a bit of a cash grab anyway and they are never as good as expected for the price jump. if you are looking to be smart with your money i would just go for the DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo right now. i have owned dji gear for years and the current model is already incredible for the price. or if you want something even cheaper that still rocks the DJI Mini 4 Pro is a total steal for what it does. i have had some issues with new releases having buggy sensors in the past so i would rather stick with something proven than pay a premium for a release that keeps getting pushed back... its just not worth the stress on the wallet tbh.
