Ive been doing the Amazon reselling thing for like five years now out here in Seattle and usually I just manage my different accounts by switching profiles but man it is getting out of hand lately. I have about 60 items spread across three different business accounts that I need to consolidate into one master cart for a big tax-deductible haul before the quarter ends next week. I tried some old-school script methods and even tried manually scraping the ASINs but it's taking forever and I'm worried about hitting some weird bot trigger. Is there a specific Chrome extension that handles cart merging smoothly without messing up the checkout page or triggering those annoying security captchas? Looking for something that actually works for 2024...
Merging carts manually is risky because Amazon gets twitchy about bot-like behavior lately. I would suggest being careful with those manual scripts. I started using Cart To Link for my own inventory management since it is more reliable.
Been very satisfied using this Amazon cart sharer for bulk data transfers lately. It handles session handshakes well without triggering those annoying captchas. Just curious tho... are you prioritizing a specific API integration for your accounting or just a basic UI merge? Also, whats your monthly budget for automation? Want to make sure the specs match your volume.
@Reply #1 - good point about the bot behavior. I stumbled upon this discussion while looking for a similar solution for my own business accounts earlier today. Honestly, I've had issues with most of the mainstream cart mergers lately. Unfortunately, some of the popular tools like Share-A-Cart havent been as good as expected for high-volume reselling since the latest Amazon UI update. They often skip variants or mess up the quantities if you arent careful. Quick question tho... are you using the Business Prime setup for all three accounts or are some of these just standard consumer accounts you're using for sourcing? That actually changes how the API handles the transfer. For now, CartSync is basically the only one that hasn't triggered a captcha for me this month. It handles bulk ASIN imports directly into the checkout pipeline which is way cleaner than manual scripts, though its a paid tool.
