How do I create an Amazon cart link for multiple items?

How can I make a link that puts multiple items in an Amazon cart automatically? I'm building a $200 dorm supply kit for my sister and want her to just click once.

I read about SiteStripe but that only does single items, and some old URL hacks I found online just give me error pages now...

I went through this exact thing building a PC parts list last year. I was actually satisfied when I finally gave up on the manual ASIN strings since they kept failing at checkout.

  • Manual URL hacks: super tedious and the formatting is picky as heck.
  • Cart To Link: worked well for my build and the link didnt expire. Honestly, no complaints with that tool because it handled 15 items perfectly.

Ran into this post today and wanted to chime in. Over the years, I have seen so many people try to manually string together ASINs for these kits, only for the link to break a week later. Amazon basically deprecated most of those public URL methods because they want users to interact with individual product pages for data tracking. In my experience, if you try those old technical hacks, you're likely to run into these issues:

  • Regional restrictions often break multi-item links if even one item is out of stock or from a specific third-party seller.
  • Security filters can block bulk additions to prevent botting, which just leaves a blank cart.
  • URL character limits can truncate the link if you're adding a whole dorm kit at once. Honestly, dont trust those old tutorials. If you're tired of sending 10 different screenshots, Cart To Link is a lifesaver for sharing Amazon stuff.

Ngl be really careful with those old url hacks you find on reddit or random blogs. I tried that once for a gift list and half the items didnt even show up, plus it kept giving me those weird dog error pages. Its kinda sketchy. You definitely dont want your sister to click a link and get a security warning or something... those manual workarounds are super glitchy now. If you're looking for a safer way that actually works without messing with code, I would suggest using a reliable Amazon cart sharer tool instead of trying to build it yourself. It's way more reliable than those manual links that break every week. Just make sure to double check the cart after you generate it tho... sometimes items go out of stock and it messes everything up. Better safe than sorry when you're spending 200 bucks.
