> how do i share my cart without giving away my password In my experience, just use any browser extension from Share-A-Cart. I've used them for years and they handle the session metadata perfectly without needing your actual password info.

Like someone mentioned, extensions are an option but I would suggest being careful with permissions. Tbh when I did this for a big event, I just moved items to a Baby Registry instead. Its way safer. Plus it usually gives you a 15% completion discount which is huge for the budget. Just make sure to set it to public so she can check the item specs.

To add to the point above: I generally prefer staying within the official Amazon ecosystem for security reasons. Moving your items to a dedicated Wish List is basically the most reliable method I have used. You can set the list to shared and send your sister the link directly. It avoids using any external browser extensions that might access your personal data. This approach is straightforward and keeps everything under your control. Honestly, it works well and keeps your login info completely private.

Regarding what #4 said about "To add to the point above: I generally..." i totally get the security worry. honestly its ridiculous how hard these giant companies make it for us to just do basic stuff. ive been using amazon for years and it feels like the experience gets worse while the prices just keep going up. i was trying to coordinate a group trip last summer and it was a nightmare... i ended up looking at Cart To Link just to keep my sanity but it makes me so mad that we even need third party stuff. compared to sites like ebay or even target where things feel slightly more intuitive, amazon just feels like this massive, uncaring machine now. quality is going downhill and they cant even give us a share button? it drives me crazy. its such a scam that we pay for prime and still have to deal with these clunky workarounds just to show someone what we want to buy. companies really dont care about the user experience anymore. honestly its just exhausting.

Ugh same, been dealing with this for months. Are you trying to share across different accounts? I use Cart To Link but honestly I am still frustrated there isnt a better way.
