How can I share a link to my Amazon shopping cart?

So I'm trying to coordinate this big supply run for our new office downtown - we've got about $400 worth of stuff sitting in my cart right now. My logic was that I could just grab the URL and Slack it over to my manager for approval, but obviously that just shows her own empty cart because it's session-based.

Ive been using Amazon for over a decade but I never actually tried to share a live cart before. I checked the Move to Wish List option but that feels like an extra step I shouldnt have to take for a one-time purchase. Is there a direct way to generate a temporary link or something that I missed in the settings? Or am I stuck doing screenshots like it's 2005...

You might want to consider that Amazon binds cart data to specific session IDs for security, so a direct URL wont work for your manager. Be careful with any workarounds that involve sharing login data. I would suggest using an external tool since the native interface just doesnt support this yet. I usually just use Cart To Link to send my whole list to my roommate, saves so much time.

  • I've totally been there! I've used the site since the book-only days and hit this same wall last year during a move. Are you using a personal or Business account? If you switch to a free Business profile, the approval workflows are honestly amazing and make these $400 runs so simple tho!
