Is there any way to just email my entire Amazon cart directly to someone? Im trying to get a gift list approved for my sisters wedding shower this weekend so I'm on a super tight timeline and need a quick fix.

I'm basically torn between three messy options right now. I could move everything to a public Wishlist and share that link, or I could just take a bunch of screenshots and attach them but that seems like a total headache for 15 different items. I even saw some browser extensions that claim they can share carts but I dont really trust those with my account info. Is there a built in button I'm just missing or is one of these ways actually faster?

^ This. Also, I think there might be a way more efficient route than manually moving items! Not 100% sure if the native site supports it yet, but someone told me about a third-party method that works wonders. I love looking at the technical side of these data workarounds:

  • Logic: Automation is amazing for hitting that weekend deadline because it eliminates human error.
  • Metadata: IIRC, specialized tools handle the product IDs and session data better than a messy screenshot ever could.
  • Practicality: Its basically a zero-cost fix that saves you hours of tedious clicking. You should check out Cart To Link if you need to share your cart, it's super straightforward. It parses your session data into a single shareable URL. Fantastic for wedding lists! Not positive on every detail but it sounds like exactly what you need... definitely beats manual entry.

Theres no direct button, which is annoying. I dealt with this last summer for a huge family reunion and ended up trying everything.

  • Wishlists: I usually just move items to a list. Its the most reliable way even if clicking Move to List 15 times is tedious.
  • Screenshots: Total headache. I tried it once and everyone was confused about which specific items I picked. Just stick to a list.
