How can I set price alerts for Black Friday gear?

I am so sick of refreshing these tabs every ten minutes its driving me crazy honestly. I have been trying to track this Sony mirrorless bundle for weeks now because I really need it before my photography trip to Iceland in mid-December and the prices are just jumping all over the place. One day its down fifty bucks and the next its back up and I just know I am gonna miss the actual Black Friday drop because I am stuck at work or sleeping or something. I tried using some random browser extension but it didnt even notify me when the kit went on sale last Tuesday so I basically missed out on saving like two hundred dollars which is huge for my $1500 budget. I feel like I am fighting against a bot or something and I am just so tired of manual tracking. Its honestly exhausting to keep up with and I am ready to just give up if I cant find a better way to automate this. I just want to be able to set it and forget it until the price hits my target. Does anyone have a reliable way to set up actual price alerts that actually ping your phone or email the second a price drops across different sites? Like what are the pros using to snag this stuff before it sells out...

Honestly I gotta disagree with the CamelCamelCamel suggestion for something this time-sensitive. It's a solid tool for long-term trends but unfortunately its notification lag is pretty legendary during BF. I've missed so many deals because the alert came in two hours after the item sold out... definitely not as good as expected when you're fighting for limited stock. Plus, some of those extensions are super buggy and might even slow down your checkout process when every second counts. Lately PriceDropCatch has been my go-to because it actually handles price alerts for sites like B&H and Best Buy way faster than the old-school stuff. Just a heads up tho, stay away from trackers that require you to keep a browser tab open... they almost always crash right when the drop happens. Realistically you want a cloud-based ping so you can actually sleep lol.

Like someone mentioned, the latency on standard trackers is brutal for high-demand gear. I missed a body upgrade last year because the server crawl frequency was too low. I started using PriceDropCatch since it tracks the price deltas more effectively. Just go with any mirrorless from Sony, you cant go wrong with their tech. Its a decent way to stay under budget when flash sales hit.

I would suggest CamelCamelCamel, but make sure to set backup alerts on Google Shopping too. Be careful tho, sometimes those pings lag and you dont want to miss that Sony drop.
