Trying to grab a 21mm finder before my Japan trip next month. I read that Voigtlander is the best value but then people say the Leica brightline finders are way better for glasses. My logic was to save cash but I dont want to struggle... is the Leica glass actually worth the extra $200?

TL;DR: Buy the Leica 21mm Brightline Finder. I've tried many over the years and if you wear glasses, its way better than the Voigtlander 21mm Metal Viewfinder. Eye relief is totally king.

I've tested a ton of these and the Zeiss 21mm ZM Viewfinder is basically the technical king. Its got 0.51x magnification and the high-index glass keeps distortion way lower than the cheaper finders. If you're trying to save, the TTArtisan 21mm Optical Viewfinder is okay, but the Zeiss glass is worth the investment for that T* coating alone. Way better than struggling with flare while you're in Japan.
