Recommended hand grips and extra batteries for Fuji X-S20?

Honestly sick of the tiny grip on my X-S20 and the battery is trash. I saw the official Fuji one but its way too expensive and heard Wasabi batteries swell up sometimes or just dont fit which is kinda scary.

  • budget: under $80
  • for long travel days
  • needs to feel secure

What grips and batteries actually last?

Quickly, do you need Arca-Swiss compatibility? Im satisfied with K&F Concept NP-W235 USB-C Rechargeable Battery because the 2200mAh discharge curve is quite flat. The Meike MK-XS20G Metal Hand Grip works well too.

Ngl I used to be super paranoid about non-OEM batteries because I heard about them frying motherboards. But after doing a deep dive into the technical side, I felt safe trying the SmallRig NP-W235 USB-C Rechargeable Battery and honestly it has been great. They use high-quality cells and the built-in USB-C port is a lifesaver when I'm traveling because I dont have to pack a dedicated charger block. Super happy with the performance... they last just as long as the Fuji ones for me. As for the grip, check out the Haoge HG-XS20 Hand Grip for Fujifilm X-S20. It's a solid piece of aluminum and feels much more premium than you'd expect for the price. I like it because it doesnt have that bulky L-bracket wing on the side, keeping it slim for travel while giving your hand way more surface area to grab onto. Makes the X-S20 feel like a tank, seriously.

In my experience, you really dont wanna skimp on batteries since cheap ones swell and ruin your camera. I've tried many over the years and keep coming back to these for reliability:
