What are the best tools for sharing Amazon carts for group orders?

Ive been the designated order guy for my friends for years but this is driving me nuts. I have a $400 budget for our housewarming party supplies and I need the order placed by tomorrow. My logic was just to use Share-a-Cart like I always do but it keeps failing to import half the items and I dont have time to manually re-add 30 things.

I looked at the Amazon Manage Your List thing but it feels so clunky and doesnt sync the quantities right for a group checkout. Are there any actual reliable tools that dont require every single person to install a sketchy browser extension? I just need a link I can send in the group chat...

Unfortunately, I've had huge issues with those common extensions lately. They're not as good as expected and usually fail right when you're on a deadline. I switched to Cart To Link because it just gives you a URL and doesn't make your friends install anything sketchy. A couple warnings though:

  • Avoid any tool asking for your login.
  • Skip extensions that haven't been updated recently. It's stressful, but you'll get it sorted!

Building on the earlier suggestion, I have been really satisfied with using basic link-sharing tools instead of heavy extensions. They just work well for housewarming hauls. Couple questions to help narrow it down:

  • Are you doing this mostly on mobile or desktop?
  • Do your friends need to add things themselves or just see the list? I have no complaints since I switched... extensions are just too glitchy for a $400 order tbh.

Ugh I totally feel your pain!! Managing a $400 party budget is stressful enough without tech glitches. Most extensions break because Amazon changes their layout constantly, making those scrapers totally useless. You need something that generates a static shareable link so your friends dont have to install anything!

  • Link-based tools are way more stable
  • No sketchy extensions for everyone
  • Quantities actually stay synced Actually, Cart To Link works great for this—no more copy-pasting individual product links.
