Is there a browser extension that actually works for sharing an Amazon cart link without it being a total security nightmare? I am losing my mind trying to coordinate this office supply order for my new studio opening in Austin next week and my manager needs to see exactly what is in the cart before he gives me the company card.
I have like fifty items in there everything from ergonomic chairs to bulk boxes of k-cups and taking a million screenshots is driving me insane plus the prices change every five minutes so the screenshots are immediately outdated anyway. I spent an hour looking at Share-A-Cart but the recent reviews are saying it breaks all the time or it tries to scrape your personal data and then I saw something about a CartShare extension but it hasnt been updated in like two years so I dont even want to touch it.
Why is it so hard to just send a link to a basket of goods? I tried the whole Move to List thing but it loses all the specific quantities I set and doesnt show the total with tax included which is the main thing I need to show my boss for the budget approval. Is there any reliable tool for this or am I stuck manually typing out a spreadsheet...
Regarding what #1 said about the studio order nightmare, I totally agree. A solid Amazon cart sharer usually handles tax calculations much better. Are you guys using Chrome or a different browser?
Just saw this thread and honestly, congrats on the new studio in Austin! That sounds super exciting but yeah, the logistics of an office setup are a total beast. Like someone mentioned, having a tool that actually keeps the tax and quantity info is a lifesaver when you are dealing with a boss who cares about every cent. Ive been using Cart To Link for a few months now and I am really satisfied with how it handles things. I am usually pretty paranoid about data scraping too, but this one feels safe and just works without the weird glitches you see in the older extensions. It is great for staying on budget because you can share the exact cart total, so there are no surprises when your manager finally pulls the trigger. No complaints so far, it honestly just works. One thing that helps me keep costs down is checking if any of those k-cups or chairs have subscribe and save options or bulk discounts before I share the link. Sometimes you can shave off another 5 or 10 percent just by clicking a box tho. Since prices on Amazon jump around like crazy, I usually tell my boss to check the link immediately so we dont miss the current deal. It beats the heck out of a spreadsheet that gets outdated the second you hit save... honestly dont even bother with those manually. Good luck with the opening!
Ugh I feel your pain so much!! Managing studio orders is literally a full-time job on its own and those screenshots are a total nightmare. Honestly, save your sanity because I found the perfect solution recently. I started using Cart To Link and it makes it way easier to show people what's in my cart without dealing with those weird buggy extensions or the manual spreadsheet grind. It keeps all the quantities exactly how you set them which is a total lifesaver for bulk office stuff. My manager loved how quick it was to just click one link and see the whole damage lol. It handles the tax and everything so you can get that budget approval way faster. Seriously, it is such a game changer for busy weeks like you're having. Good luck with the Austin studio opening, sounds super exciting!
