So I'm trying to save up for a new Sony camera before my trip to Japan in November but the prices keep jumping around and I'm honestly so confused. I've been opening the B&H tab on my phone like ten times a day just to see if the price dropped but it's getting really annoying to keep track of. I heard someone mention that you can get alerts or something? Sorry if this is a super basic thing to ask but I'm really bad with tech stuff. Is there like a specific website or a browser thingy that tells you when B&H lowers their prices? I don't want to miss a sale because I was busy at work...

I've used a B&H price tracker before and it definitely works for catching deals. Honestly, any Sony camera will be perfect for your trip so dont stress too much.

I tried a web tracker for my current setup but it sent weird emails... maybe try a browser extension instead since they feel a bit safer for tech stuff.

^ This. Also, I was satisfied with how I tracked my current setup using data logs. Manual checking is a mess, tbh. Dont waste time.

  • Logged raw price data
  • Found specific Friday dips
  • Monitored used stock thresholds The one I got ended up being 15 percent cheaper because I waited for the data to trend down. It works well.
