What is the absolute best Chrome extension for tracking prices on the Dell website specifically? Im so stoked because Ive finally saved up about $1800 for a high-end XPS 15 but I keep seeing these flash sales and then the price jumps back up and its driving me crazy lol. I need to get this ordered by the end of next month because I have a big freelance video project starting in Chicago and my current laptop is basically a brick at this point.

Ive been looking around and people keep mentioning Honey or Rakuten but those seem more about coupons or cashback and not really about price history tracking like what I actually need. I also saw some people say CamelCamelCamel is the gold standard but thats only for Amazon right?? I tried to use it on the Dell store and it didnt do anything so I think I was right about that being an Amazon-only thing. Is there something like Keepa but for the Dell store? I really want to see a graph or something to know if the price right now is actually a deal or if I should wait another week. I dont want to pull the trigger today and then see it drop another $200 tomorrow because I missed a pattern or something. Anyone have a tool they actually swear by for Dell specifically?

Most generic extensions fail on Dells store pages. Id try a dedicated Dell price tracker.

  • Which exact CPU/GPU combo are you hunting?
  • Is that $1800 budget including tax?

Building on the earlier suggestion, I totally get the frustration with those flash sales! Dell is notorious for those random 24-hour drops that disappear before you even wake up. If you want that pro experience, honestly just go with an XPS from Dell. You seriously cant go wrong with any of them for video work, they are just fantastic machines! Here is my advice for tracking:

  • Definitely use a dedicated Dell price tracker because the big generic extensions usually miss the member-only pricing or the coupons that actually stack.
  • Always check both the Home and Work sections since the price fluctuates differently on each side.
  • Peek at the Dell Outlet every morning... seriously, you can find incredible deals there that look brand new. Dont sweat the tiny specs too much, just make sure you have plenty of RAM for that Chicago project! Youre gonna love that display, its absolutely amazing for color work.
