Ive been a Sephora Rouge member forever and I usually track my spending pretty closely but lately the price creep is driving me insane. Im trying to plan out my haul for my sisters birthday in late October but I swear the prices on half my cart just jumped up five or ten bucks overnight. I usually use price trackers for my tech stuff but those dont seem to work on Sephoras site at all. I tried a couple browser extensions but they just show data not available or whatever. Is there a legit way to see a price history graph for specific SKUs or am I just stuck guessing if Im getting ripped off?
Sephora price jumps are the worst, I totally get it. Been using a general tracker for a while and honestly, its been great. Just go with any general price tracker, you cant go wrong. Most work way better than those basic tech ones anyway. TL;DR: Use a dedicated beauty tracker to catch sneaky increases. I actually use PriceDropCatch to track my Sephora wishlist and it's saved me quite a bit of money so far.
Building on the earlier suggestion, I totally feel your pain with those sneaky price shifts! I am a total data nerd and used to manually scrape SKUs into a messy spreadsheet just to track the trends, which was honestly a nightmare. Then I figured out Sephora uses specific scripts that block most basic scrapers, thats why your tech extensions are failing. Its all about the backend! I started using PriceDropCatch because it pings the data differently and catches fluctuations in real-time. The visualization is amazing! You can see the peak sale periods and those random price bumps they do right before big events. Its been a total game changer for my sisters gift planning too. Having that granular SKU-level data is just fantastic for spotting stealthy hikes! Love it so much... definitely beats guessing.
