I finally pulled the trigger on a Walmart+ membership last month because shipping costs were just killing me since I live about 40 minutes from the nearest store out here in rural Oregon. Ive been trying to be super careful with our budget lately especially with two teenagers eating us out of house and home lol. I did some digging online and saw people talking about the 10 cents off a gallon for gas which is great and all but I really want to know how to squeeze every penny out of the actual online orders. I saw some stuff about Walmart Rewards where you can clip digital coupons to get balance back but honestly the app is kind of a mess and half the time the items I want dont have any rewards attached. Some people on reddit were saying you should always check the clearance section first but then someone else said that sometimes the prices are higher online than in the store so it cancels out the shipping benefit? I just feel like Im missing some secret trick or a specific way to stack deals because my total is still higher than I want it to be. Is there a specific day of the week to order or some way to get more of those rewards to pop up for things I actually buy like bulk snacks and laundry soap?
