I just picked up a used Canon Rebel for landscape stuff and need a tripod under $50. I saw the AmazonBasics one but reviews say its super flimsy, then I looked at the Manfrotto Compact but its way more expensive. Is there anything halfway decent that wont let my camera crash into the dirt...
Honestly be very careful with those ultra cheap plastic options. I wouldnt trust a Rebel on that Amazon one... its just too risky. You might want to consider the K&F Concept 62 inch Aluminum Tripod with 360 Degree Ball Head instead. It stays around $50 and feels way sturdier. Make sure to double check the leg locks are tight before you step away tho.
