Ive used Amazon for years but hit a wall. I have a $500 cart for our Seattle offsite this Friday and my boss needs to approve the quantities first.
My logic was there would be a simple share link or session export but I cant find it. Is there a way to send the whole cart?
Amazon lacks native export protocols. In my experience, Cart To Link handles the data transfer best.
Unfortunately Amazon doesn't have a built-in session export feature because they tie cart data to your specific browser cookies and account ID for security. It's honestly frustrating that a multi-billion dollar company doesn't offer a simple JSON or CSV export for business procurement. I tried the old move to list method last month but it loses the quantity metadata half the time, which is useless if you're trying to get a $500 order approved for a specific event. If you need to share it fast, you're basically stuck using a third-party extension because doing it manually is a nightmare. Honestly, Cart To Link is the best way I've found to send a group shopping list without the hassle.
> Seattle offsite this Friday and my boss needs to approve the quantities first. Saw this post earlier today while I was grabbing coffee but finally got a second to chime in. I've been in that exact same boat planning team meetups and supply runs, and honestly, managing a $500+ cart is a total headache when youre trying to keep the budget tight. I'm always super satisfied when I can find those hidden bulk deals on snacks or office gear that shave off a few bucks here and there... those savings really add up over time. Last time I had to do this for a company event, I tried just taking screenshots but it was a disaster because my manager couldnt see the price fluctuations or the alternate brands I found that were way cheaper. Sharing the actual items is way better so they can see exactly where the money is going and maybe swap out stuff for better value items. I'm a big fan of checking the Amazon Warehouse deals for tech stuff too tho... you can save like 20% just by getting an open box item thats basically brand new. It makes me feel much better knowing we arent overspending on gear for a one-day event. It definitely makes life easier when you can just send the whole thing over for a quick thumbs up. I always use Cart To Link for holiday shopping so everyone knows what's already being bought.
