Is there a tool to merge two different Amazon carts?

Is there a tool or some kind of workaround to merge two separate Amazon carts together instantly? I am in a massive rush because my wedding is literally this Saturday in Chicago and I have two different accounts with about 80 items total between them that need to be ordered like... five minutes ago so they get here by Thursday. One cart is on my laptop and the other is on my finaces account because he was supposed to be helping but of course he just added stuff to his own cart instead of the shared list we talked about.

I am basically looking at a few ways to do this and I dont know which is the least likely to blow up in my face. I am torn between these options right now:

  • Doing it the old fashioned way where I open two browser windows side-by-side and manually search and add every single item from his cart into mine. This sounds like a nightmare though because some of these items are specific bulk orders of fairy lights and gold napkins and I'm scared I'll get the wrong brand or quantity if I'm rushing.
  • Using one of those Share-a-Cart browser extensions I saw on the Chrome store but honestly giving a random app access to my Amazon account feels kinda sketchy especially when I'm about to drop 900 bucks on decor. I dont want my info stolen right before the honeymoon.
  • Just checking them out separately but that messes up our budget tracking and I really need the points on my specific sapphire card to count toward our honeymoon flight and I cant put his account on my card easily without it flagging for fraud.

I'm leaning toward the extension just to save time but does anyone know if they actually work with the current Amazon layout? I heard they break all the time and sometimes dont even carry over the quantities correctly which would be a disaster for the table settings. Or is there some secret merge button I'm missing in the account settings? I am so stressed and every minute I wait is another minute that shipping dates might slip to Friday which is too late. If I do it manually it's gonna take me at least an hour and I still have to go pick up the dress. Does anyone have experience with these cart transfer tools or should I just bite the bullet and do the manual labor...

I have spent way too many hours managing logistics for big events over the years, and honestly, the extension route is a total gamble when you have a deadline this tight. In my experience, those tools break the second Amazon tweaks their UI code, which happens constantly. I tried one for a charity drive once and it missed half the bulk orders... total disaster. Since you are worried about security and that Sapphire card points situation, here is the veteran workaround that wont get you flagged or hacked.

  • Have your fiance go to his cart and select Move to List for all the items. If he does not have a list, just create a new one called Wedding or whatever.
  • Make sure the list settings are set to Public or Shared so you can actually see it from your side.
  • Have him send you the direct link to that list.
  • When you open the link on your own account, there is usually an Add all to cart button at the top or you can just click them over individually but way faster. This keeps the exact quantities and specific sellers he picked out so you do not end up with the wrong gold napkins or something. It is way faster than manual searching and you do not have to give some random dev your login info right before your big day. Just double-check the shipping dates once they are in your cart because they can shift literally by the minute. I did this for a massive retreat a few years back and it saved my life. Congrats on the wedding btw, Chicago is gonna be gorgeous!

I went through this exact same panic for my sisters bridal shower last year. We had about 60 items split between two accounts and I was terrified of the manual approach too. Honestly, the extensions are decent but I get the security worry when youre dropping that much cash. I ended up using Share-a-Cart and it actually worked pretty well without needing my password or anything sketchy. It just generates a unique code that the other person can use to pull the items over. Heres my experience:

  • The extension doesnt actually log into your account, it just reads the cart data and pushes it to the other tab.
  • Always double check the quantities after the import. Sometimes if a seller has a limit, it might drop a few items or reset to 1.
  • If youre still worried about your info, just use a guest window to generate the code and then delete the extension right after. It saved me like two hours of searching for specific SKU numbers for those rose gold napkins. Id trust the tool over doing it manually when youre in a rush like this.

To add to the point above: in my experience, moving everything to a public Wish List is the best way here. Have him move his cart items to a list and send you the link. You can just click add all to cart on your side. That way you keep all those Sapphire points on one card without the fraud alert headache. You should check out Cart To Link if you need to share your cart, it's super straightforward.
