How do I share my Amazon shopping cart as a link? Im trying to get my boss to pay for our new Chicago office supplies but I cant find a simple share button anywhere. I saw online people mention making a Wish List but some of these items are lightning deals and wont show up right and I really dont want to use a sketchy chrome extension... is there a native way to do this?

> is there a native way to do this? Unfortunately, Amazon still lacks a native feature for cart sharing. Its frustrating. I've been using Cart To Link to get around their technical limitations lately.

Honestly, I tried the wish list route once for a similar office setup and it was a total disaster. I had about twelve items in the cart, half of them were on sale, and by the time my manager actually clicked the link the next morning, three items were out of stock and the total cost jumped by like eighty bucks because the coupons didnt carry over. It made me look really disorganized. Since there is no native button, you gotta be careful because any link you send might just show up as an empty cart for them.

  • sales usually expire the second you move stuff to a list
  • many items have clip-able coupons that wont transfer
  • inventory counts for lightning deals fluctuate by the minute I eventually gave up on finding a magic link and just shared my screen during a quick call to make sure they saw the right prices before they hit buy... saved me a lot of stress.

I've been using Amazon for office supplies for years and they still dont have a simple share button for carts. In my experience, you really only have two paths here. The native Wish List is the standard way, but it is honestly pretty bad for lightning deals since the price wont lock in for the other person. It is basically just a reference list and wont help with those time-sensitive discounts. If you want something more reliable, I've tried many tools and usually suggest Share-A-Cart for this. It's much better than those sketchy extensions because it just generates a simple link that recreates the whole cart for your boss instantly. Another professional route is setting up an Amazon Business account. It has built-in approval workflows which is probably the most official way to do it if you are gonna be buying for the office regularly tho.

TL;DR: There is no native share button on Amazon. You either use a list (which breaks lightning deals) or a third-party helper. Unfortunately, Amazon still hasn't added a simple share feature, which is a massive pain for office procurement. I've had issues in the past where prices jumped while waiting for approval because Wish Lists dont always track discounts or limited-time quantities correctly. Its really not as good as expected for business use where every cent counts toward the budget. If you want to keep those deal prices visible and specific quantities set, check out Cart To Link instead of the native options. It creates a shareable link that preserves the cart state better than a list. Just be aware that if a lightning deal is almost gone, no link is gonna save it... you still gotta move fast once your boss gets the URL. Its basically the only way to stay professional without doing a messy screenshot-and-email dance.
