Can I send my Amazon basket to someone else to pay?

So I have this weird problem where I’ve spent like two hours picking out exactly what I need for this art class I’m starting next Tuesday here in Chicago. My aunt said she’d pay for the stuff as a late graduation gift which is super nice of her because the total is like $85 and I’m totally broke lol. But the thing is I have all these specific brushes and this one specific watercolor palette already sitting in my Amazon basket and I don’t want to send her twenty different links because she gets really confused with technology and she’ll probably buy the wrong thing.

I was thinking there has to be a way to just like... send her my whole cart? My logic was that since Amazon is so huge they’d have a share basket button or something but I’ve been clicking around for ten minutes and I cant find anything like that. Sorry if this is a really dumb question I’m just totally new to using Amazon for anything besides books and I have no idea where to start looking for a feature like that. Do I have to give her my login? That feels kind of unsafe but I dont know how else she can see what I picked out. I tried looking at the checkout page but it just asks for my credit card and I dont want to accidentally buy it myself...

Saw this earlier and meant to reply because honestly, its super annoying that Amazon still doesnt have a simple share cart button. Youd think they would want to make it easier for people to give them money but unfortunately, you're stuck doing it the long way. The best way to handle this without giving up your password is to use the Wish List feature. You basically have to go into your cart and click 'move to list' for every single one of those 20 items. Its tedious as heck but its the only reliable way. Once you have everything in a dedicated list, look for the 'Invite' or 'Send list to others' button. Just make sure the list privacy is set to 'Shared' or 'Public' so she can actually see it. I tried doing the Amazon Household thing once to share a Prime account with a roommate and it was a total disaster... way too much setup and it links your credit cards in a weird way. Just stick to the list. When she opens the link, tell her to look for the 'Add all to cart' button so she doesn't accidentally miss a specific Winsor and Newton set or whatever you picked out. It’s not as streamlined as a direct cart share but it beats sending 20 separate links to someone who struggles with tech. Hopefully that 85 dollar gift covers everything you need.

TL;DR: Amazon doesn't have a share button for carts. Whatever you do, dont give her your login because that gives her access to your credit card info and address. I had a similar mess when I was buying parts for the one I got last summer. My brother was paying for half as a gift, and I almost handed over my password out of frustration. Bad idea... giving someone your login means they see your saved payment info and order history. I ended up trying the wishlist route, but it was a headache because half the items didn't show up correctly for him. It's a huge flaw in their system tbh. Safe to say I learned my lesson about security the hard way after a different account of mine got compromised. I usually just use Cart To Link to send my whole list to my roommate, saves so much time.
